When you’re really beginning to fall for a woman, there are some talks that you absolutely must have.

The sooner these ten questions are asked, the sooner you can settle down and enjoy yourself.
If she squirms around with any of these, you’ll know right away that there’s something you need to think about.

1. Have You Been Tested?

When you want to get horizontal, this is a crucial question. Mutual STD testing is irritating, but it can take a huge load off of your mind. If you can’t ask her this, you probably shouldn’t get into bed with her. Plus, bare-backing’s awesome.

2. Do You Want Kids?

For your own sake, and hers, make sure that you ask her this as soon as things start to get serious. If you’re incompatible on this front, resign yourself to a temporary relationship.

3. What Activities Are Off the Table?

Everyone has limits, and if someone says that they don’t, be very very careful around them. Ask your girlfriend what she considers verboten, whether it’s that one thing that you love to do in bed or if she’ll ever go to eat Cambodian food again. If she says “never”, believe her and decide how you feel.

4. What Activities Need to Be On the Table?

Sometimes she’s got a kink to share, and sometimes she needs to make sure that you’ll call her every night when you’re on the road.
Ask her what she considers to be essential for building a relationship, and decide how you feel about them.

5. What Is Your Family Like?

If you’re going to build a life with a girl, you’re going to build a life with the people that she calls her family. If she regularly needs to do holidays with a bunch of whack-jobs, you’ll be doing holidays with a bunch of whack-jobs too.

6. Do You Like Your Job?

People who are happy with their jobs tend to be a lot happier to be around in general. If someone is miserable eight to ten hours a day, that’s going to be the case throughout the rest of their life.

7. How Did Your Last Relationship End?

Don’t ask for the details that will keep you up at night. Just find out why her last relationship ended and how it happened. It will give you a clue on how your relationship might end, and whether you need to get renters’ insurance because of it.

8. How Seriously Are You Taking This?

Is she with you because you make a great fling, or is she there because she wants her babies to have your eyes? This question keeps you both on the same page.

9. How Jealous Do You Get?

Is she going to be okay when you go out for a night with the guys? What if some of your friends are girls? If she can’t respect the fact that you have friends that you care about, something is wrong.
Great communication is not hard, no matter what others say. Be blunt, mean what you say and trust the possible girl of your dreams to mean what she says too.
